This website contains photographs and other historical documents collected by the late Samuel John Collins MBE (1928–2004), a lifetime resident of the village of Wheathampstead, Hertfordshire, UK.
Sam Collins was greatly interested in village life, its people and its buildings. He was a Parish Councillor for 39 years and gave many talks on the local history of the village. These are some of his photographic slides which are now presented on this historical archive for all to see.
